NXT Season 4
So, next week, we are going to get NXT Season 4. Looks like this might very well be the last season as WWE is trying to get the Tough Enough competition up and running again. Two of the competitors were actually the Tag Champions in FCW, Johnny Curtis and Derrick Bateman. On a side note, I will be helping out with the official Derrick Bateman website after its launch this weekend, Michael-Hutter.com - The official fanpage of all things Sweet DB.
In case you don’t know, or have not been informed yet, here are the Rookie and Pro pairings for Season 4:
Brodus Clay - Ted Dibiase & Maryse
Byron Saxton - “Masterpiece” Chris Masters
Conor O’Brian - Alberto Del Rio
Derrick Bateman - Daniel Bryan
Jacob Novak - Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero
Johnny Curtis - R Truth
There had been talk of paring Seth Rollins with Michael Cole, as an odd-pairing with Cole berating Rollins the entire time for being another “Internet Darling”.
I believe that this might actually be a compelling season as all of these guys have been working in FCW for a while and have been on the cusp of being called up. There is also the added fact of WWE stepping up their game when it comes to Pro’s this season. I mean, who doesn’t want to tune in each and every week just to see the likes of Del Rio, DiBiase, Ziggler and Bryan? Those stars are going to be worth the views on the site alone.
